A key player in Sri Lanka’s energy market, Litro Gas Lanka Ltd is the largest importer and distributor of LPG in the country, holding the majority market share of domestic, industrial and commercial LPG markets in Sri Lanka. As a State Owned Enterprise, the primary objective of the Company is to facilitate access to affordable and clean energy.
Litro Gas Lanka Ltd fulfils this national obligation by importing LPG from international suppliers and distributing it island wide, through a network of dealers and distributors, to ensure easy access to LPG, for all socio-economic categories. Through this process Litro Gas Lanka Ltd supports millions of households by providing an affordable, clean energy source for cooking, thousands of small businesses with LPG for a range of business applications from food production to manufacturing, and larger industries for industrial applications. By establishing a network of dealers, distributors, and home-delivery services, the Company has also created a new form of self-employment for thousands of people across the country.
