Mr. Channa Gunawardana

Chairman – Litro Gas Lanka Limited / Litro Gas Terminal Lanka (Pvt) Ltd

Mr. Gunawardana is a seasoned business leader with a strong management background and a proven track record of business transformation.

Channa Gunawardana is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and also a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA), with an MBA from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He holds a First-Class degree from the Department of Accountancy and Financial Management of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is reading for his PhD at the Management and Science University in Malaysia.
Channa was conferred with the Hall of Fame for Leadership Excellence for the year 2022, by the Colombo Leadership Academy. The award is a testimony for the demonstration of leadership excellence during his tenure for business transformation and turnaround of Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC along with the recognition of professionalism, commitment and dedication to develop a high performance business culture. Further, he was awarded the Best Manufacturing CEO of the Year 2022 organized by CEO Sri Lanka.

Channa has extensive experience in overseas operations, as the Country Manager of Ernst & Young – Maldives, and with apparel operations in Bangladesh as the Chief Financial Officer. Further, he was instrumental in setting up one of the pioneering manufacturing plants in the emerging market in Africa in 2015. Channa served in the Hirdaramani Group for 12 long years and was the Chief Operating Officer of Knit Cluster towards end of his Hirdaramani career. Subsequently, he was with Aitken Spence Group, where he was the CEO/Director of Aitken Spence Garments Ltd.

In addition to the current roles of being the Chairman for both Litro Gas Lanka Limited, and Litro Gas Terminal Lanka (Pvt) Limited, Mr. Gunawardana serves as the Executive Director/CEO of Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, and a Member of the National Chamber of Commerce, a Director of the Ceylon Glass and Ceramic Council and a former member of the Global Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Mr. Mahendra Garusinghe

Mahendra Garusinghe is a highly experienced maritime and petroleum industry professional with over 27 years of experience, including 14 years in senior management roles at the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC). He retired from CPC as Deputy General Manager (Commercial & Supply Chain) in September 2023.

He possesses extensive expertise in planning, organizing, and controlling procurement activities for crude oil and refined petroleum products. These skills plus stock management have proved to be invaluable through his participation over the years in regular stock review committees at the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation. His proficiency extends to chartering tankers and tugs, and he has played a vital role in significant downstream industry projects such as the Fuel Hydrant System Project at Mattala Airport.

Over the years he has gained valuable international exposure through attending courses abroad where he has obtained a comprehensive understanding of logistics, supply chain management, port operations, and the shipping industry, including systems in Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Malta, and the United Kingdom.

He possesses an excellent blend of academic qualifications and practical experience which positions him as a leader in the maritime and petroleum sectors.

He has represented Sri Lanka at international forums, including the International Oil Pollution Compensation (IOPC) Funds meetings at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in London. He was also tasked to represent CPC in international arbitration cases overseas.

He is a qualified Chartered Ship Broker and a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (MICS, U.K.), as well as a Corporate Member of the Institute of Supply & Material Management (MISMM, Sri Lanka

Mr. Mahendra Garusinghe holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura; a Master of Science (MSc) in Maritime Affairs (Port Management) from the World Maritime University, Malmo, Sweden, and a BSc in Pure and Applied Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Colombo.

Mr. R S S Premakumara

Mr. Premkumara started his career in 1991 as a Management Trainee at DSI Footwear Company and continued his service for 32 years in different organizations, such as the National Science Council (NSC), National Apprentice & Industrial Training Authority (NAITA), and Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Ltd., (CPSTL). Over 22 years of service at Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Ltd (CPSTL), his service was concluded in 2023 as Senior Procurement Manager. He currently serves as a Board Member of Litro Gas Lanka Ltd.

He has obtained a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Ruhuna, a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Colombo, and a Master of Science in Management and Information Technology from the University of Kelaniya. In addition, he has completed the Advanced Program on Contract & Procurement Management –CIDA and Operational Aspect of International Trade – Export Development Board of Sri Lanka (EDB).

Mr. R A Susantha Kumara Ranasinghe

Mr. Ranasinghe serves as a Director of the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance where he has been actively engaging in overseeing major State-Owned Enterprises including State Banks and counts over 20 years of experience in the Public Sector. He has served as a Board Member at various State-Owned Enterprises including Nevil Fernando Teaching Hospital, Vehicle Emission Trust Fund and in many other committees as well. He currently serves as a Board member of Litro Gas Lanka Ltd and Elkaduwa Plantations Ltd.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Colombo and has earned a Master of Science Degree in Economics and Development Policy from the University of Hiroshima, Japan and Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Rajarata, Mihintale. He is a member of Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CPFA) in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and Member of Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy, London. In addition, he has completed a Diploma in Public Procurement and Contract Administration from the Miloda-Academy of Financial Studies, Colombo.

He has gained foreign trainings and exposures in related to Accounting, Financial Management, and Procurement Management & Risk Management from reputed international Institutions/Universities.

Dr. Mayura Neththikumarage

Dr. Mayura Neththikumarage is a seasoned business management professional with nearly two decades of experience in both local and international markets. Known for his transformative leadership, he has successfully revitalized numerous organizations. Dr. Neththikumarage is a recognized international business strategist, corporate transformation specialist, digitalization expert, and AI evangelist. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation and Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited. He also holds directorships at Litro Gas Lanka Limited, Litro Gas Terminal Lanka (Pvt) Limited, and Trinco Petroleum Terminal (Pvt) Limited. Additionally, he contributes as a member of the Ministerial Consultative Committee of the Ministry of Energy for the Government of Sri Lanka.

Dr. Neththikumarage’s international career began in 2005 with a regional leadership role at The Coca-Cola SABCO, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s business across the Asian region, later extending his impact to both Asia and Africa. After his tenure in the FMCG sector, he transitioned to the energy sector, gaining extensive experience in both midstream and downstream businesses. He has worked with leading multinational energy brands such as TotalEnergies, Petredec, Kleenheat, and SLOGAL Energy, as well as regional brands like Laugfs-Bangladesh, in roles ranging from Country Manager to Chief Operating Officer and Energy Trader. His expertise includes designing and building infrastructure for terminals, tank farms, ship berthing/loading facilities, filling plants, cylinder plants, fuel station networks, and industrial installations, along with channel development in the energy sector.

In addition to FMCG and energy, Dr. Neththikumarage has contributed to the IT sector, focusing on artificial intelligence, machine learning, data lakes, business process reengineering, bespoke development, and user experience design. Dr. Neththikumarage holds a Ph.D. in Management and Business, an MBA (Merit pass), a BSc (Honors) in Mechanical Engineering, along with diplomas in Politics, Software Engineering, and Computer-Based Accountancy. He also achieved a top national ranking in mathematics stream in the GCE (A/L) and holds memberships in professional bodies including IESL, ECSL, SLIM, and CPM.

Mrs. Ramani Wijeratne has extensive experience in the corporate sector and has held many senior management positions for over twenty years in prestigious financial institutions. She has earned a reputation for consistently driving revenue growth and enhancing profitability across diverse teams, demonstrating her capacity to deliver results in complex and competitive environments.

Mrs. Wijeratne’s exceptional interpersonal skills have enabled her to engage effectively with business associates and stakeholders at all levels. As an articulate and persuasive negotiator, she has a proven track record of managing stakeholder expectations and navigating intricate negotiations to favorable outcomes.

Honed with analytical skills and adaptability, Mrs. Ramani Wijeratne has been able to swiftly respond to rapidly changing market conditions where she has the ability to assess challenges and opportunities critically, ensuring that the organizations remain agile and competitive. With this strategic mindset, combined with her hands-on leadership style, she has been able to lead teams through transformative initiatives and operational improvements.

Academically, Mrs. Wijeratne holds a BSc Special Honors degree from the University of Kelaniya, complemented by extensive training in Strategic Management, Financial Management and Marketing. Further, she has participated in various professional development programs, both locally and internationally, which have enriched her knowledge and equipped her with contemporary best practices in management and leadership.
